Our meetings
We meet weekly (except certain holidays) on Thursday's from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the 2nd Street Depot.
We are a service club
We serve the greater Hastings area with the Four Way Test as our guidance.
Of the things we think, say or do
- Is it the TRUTH?
- Is it FAIR to all concerned?
- Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
- Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
Our club's Contributions
Rotary Pavilion at Levee Park
Rotary Pavilion at Levee Park
We raised over $500,000 to build this beautiful pavilion as the foundation for the Hastings riverfront redevelopment. The pavilion hosts events all summer long for both the general public and private events.
Vermillion River Bridge
Rotary Pavilion at Levee Park
We refurbished the Vermillion River train bridge into a beautiful pedestrian bridge that connects the amazing trail system near the Vermillion Falls.
Trail Signage
We provided trail signage throughout all of Hastings for the extensive trail system.
Student of the Month Scholarships
We created the Rotary Student of the Month program where we honor senior students from Hastings High School. The Student of the Month is selected by school staff. Each Student of the Month, their family and the nominating staff members are invited to a meeting to be recognized.
Hastings Rivertown Fishing and Boating
We created the Hastings Rivertown Fishing and Boating program to help seniors and disabled persons get out on the river to enjoy the sights and fishing.
Cycling Without Age
We brought Cycling Without Age, a world wide program for limited mobility persons, to feel the wind in their hair and enjoy the rush of bicycling the trails and streets of Hastings.
